[ITA]Questo corto racconta la stravagante storia del New York Prime Timers, circolo locale dell’organizzazione nazionale degli uomini gay anziani. Tra le varie attività proposte per la terza età, i membri dell’associazione partecipano anche attivamente a sexy party mensili. Attraverso le interviste dei due registi, questi orgiastici ottuagenari ci invitano ai loro intimi raduni, illustrano esplicitamente le loro attività carnali e ci spiegano in maniera diretta e vivace chi sono e quali sono le loro storie comuni. Ma, soprattutto ci dicono cosa significa per le loro vite fare esperienza, il più a lungo possibile, di incontri sessuali gioiosi e consensuali.

This short film tells the idiosyncratic story of the New York Prime Timers, the local chapter of the national senior gay men’s organization. Amidst the flurry of elderly activities, the association members also actively participate in monthly sex parties. By the interviews of the two directors, these octogenarian orgiastic invite us to their intimate gathering, illustrate explicitly their carnal activities and explain to us, both frankly and inspiringly: who they are; their own shared histories. And, above all what it means to their lives to experience joyful, consensual sexual meetings for as long as may be possible.

Charles Lum si diploma in Fotografia presso l'Istituto Scolastico d'Arte di Chicago nel 2004, dopo aver lavorato per 25 anni come location manager e scouting per spot televisivi e lungometraggi. I suoi video sono stati proiettati a livello internazionale in musei ed eventi artistici e cinematografici.
Todd Verow ha frequentato la Scuola di design di Rhode Island e il Conservatorio dell’America Film Institute. Ha fatto brevi film sperimentali e ha lavorato come direttore della fotografia prima del film di debutto Frisk, nel 1996. Con la propria società di produzione, la Bangor Films, ha diretto più di venticinque film e numerosi corti, affermandosi come autore emerito più prolifico del nuovo cinema Queer.
Charles e Todd hanno co-diretto i documentari: Age of Consent e Sex and The Silver Gays, e i corti Been Too Long at the Fair e Tom’s Gift.

Charles Lum received his MFA in Photography from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2004 after 25 years scouting and managing locations for TV commercials and feature films. His short videos have screened internationally in museum, art and film venues.
Todd Verow attended the Rhode Island School of Design and the AFI Conservatory. He made short experimental films and worked as a cinematographer before his feature film debut Frisk in 1996. Starting his own production company Bangor Films, he has directed over twenty-five features and numerous shorts, establishing himself as the most prolific auteur emeritus of the New Queer Cinema.
Charles and Todd co-directed feature the documentaries Age of Consent and Sex and The Silver Gays, and the short films Been Too Long at the Fair and Tom’s Gift.
