È possibile creare la mappa di una città tramite gli occhi che l’attraversano o i gesti di chi è di passaggio? In Quem se move Lisbona si modella attraverso un biglietto aereo cancellato, gli addii procrastinati tra amanti, la voce di una drag queen e di chi resta: «Ti domando sempre quanto, quando, come e dove. Mi rispondi sempre: chissà, chissà, chissà». La città del chissà appare come il lago essiccato del deserto del Mojave in cui le rocce hanno iniziato a muoversi e a lasciar traccia del loro movimento, i solchi delle assenze disegnano direzioni impreviste a Lisbona.
Il cortometraggio di Stephanie Ricci plana sulla notte della città in cui René, migrante brasiliana, ha deciso di rimanere, e ne restituisce la malinconia errante, quella che culla e consola fino all’alba.

Is it possible to create a map of a city through the eyes of those who move through it, through the gestures of those just passing by? In Those Who Move, Lisbon takes shape through a canceled plane ticket, the prolonged goodbyes between lovers, the voice of a drag queen, and those left behind: «I always ask you how much, when, how, and where. You always answer: who knows, who knows, who knows». The city of “who knows” appears like the dried-up lake in the Mojave Desert where the rocks have begun to move and leave traces of their movement; the furrows of absence trace unexpected paths through Lisbon.
Stephanie Ricci’s short film glides over the night of the city where René, a Brazilian migrant, has decided to stay, capturing its wandering melancholy – the kind that cradles and comforts until dawn.

Nasce nel 1995 a São Paulo. Cineasta residente a Lisbona, si è laureata in Cinema presso la FAAP nel 2018 e ha conseguito un master in Arti della Scrittura presso l’Universidade Nova de Lisboa nel 2021. Attualmente sta completando un master in Curatela Cinematografica alla Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in Spagna. Ha inoltre lavorato per il giornale Folha de São Paulo, come produttrice e sceneggiatrice per Trip TV, e ha insegnato Cinema presso la società di consulenza educativa Daqui Pra Fora a São Paulo. Tra gli altri progetti, ha scritto e diretto i cortometraggi Quem se move (2025) e Liberdade é uma Palavra (2019).

She was born in 1995 in São Paulo. Filmmaker based in Lisbon, she has graduated in Film at FAAP in 2018 and she holds a postgraduate’s degree in Writing Arts from Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2021. She is currently completing a master’s in Film Curating at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in Spain. She has also worked for the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, as a producer and screenwriter for Trip TV, and she has taught Film at the educational consulting firm Daqui Pra Fora in São Paulo. Among other projects, she wrote and directed the short films Those Who Move (2025) and Freedom is a Word (2019).
