Un incontro a due diventa un threesome; il threesome diventa un’orgia. I fili che tengono tutto assieme? La GHB, altresì detta ecstasy liquida, e A paixão segundo G.H., il romanzo mistico di Clarice Lispector del 1964. Matias entra in uno stato alterato che intreccia passato e futuro, cruda realtà e immaginazione letteraria, chemsex e lacrime.
Vinagre e Couto stanno dentro una stanza ma il loro film sembra un abisso. Dall’intreccio erotico ed eccitante dei corpi tracima una destabilizzante marea di solitudine, di volontà di uscire dalla realtà. Degerarchizzando la rappresentazione del sesso rispetto allo stereotipo (e del cinema queer mainstream e della pornografia, come spesso accade nel cinema di Vinagre), i due registi trovano un equilibrio mirabile fra empatia e crudezza. E nonostante il tentativo di fare del cinema testimonianza reale, il film non può nascondere che alcuni lati della verità non sono mai filmabili, e rimangono ferite aperte.

Matias enters an altered state that intertwines past and future, raw reality and literary imagination, chemsex and tears.
Vinagre and Couto are in a room, but their film seems like an abyss. From the erotic and exciting intertwining of bodies, a destabilizing tide of solitude, as well as a desire to escape reality, overflow. By de-hierarchizing the representation of sex with respect to stereotypes (and of mainstream queer cinema and pornography, as often happens in Vinagre's films), the two directors find a wonderful balance between empathy and crudeness. And despite the film's attempt to make cinema a true testimony, it cannot hide the fact that some aspects of the truth are never filmable, and remain open wounds.
