La limace et l’escargot segue il lento svilupparsi di una connessione che prende forma non dall’urgenza, ma dalla presenza di due corpi a lungo ignorati in un mondo frenetico, che trovano un tempo proprio l’uno nell’altro. Il film di Anne Benhaïem è una tenera ode a un modo di invecchiare dissidente, alla liminalità, all’amore che non ha bisogno di urlare per esistere. Con una regia essenziale e interpretazioni che vibrano di verità vissuta, il film crea uno spazio in cui è possibile trovare un rifugio alla vulnerabilità.
