Il giovane palermitano Lorenzo deve fare la transizione FtM. Ha rotto con la famiglia e vaga fra il Foro Italico e le camere da letto dei suoi amici per disegnare, giocare ai videogiochi e farsi predire il futuro sulle carte. Misura il suo desiderio con i vestiti che vuole indossare, i trucchi che si vuole fare e i disegni in cui si può immaginare di nuovo.
Il disegno è anche quello di Daniele Ambrosini, che traccia con la macchina da presa un piccolo mondo intimo, osservando le mani dei suoi personaggi, penetrando empaticamente la vita di Lorenzo, e perlustrando gli spazi in cui Lorenzo si sente al sicuro, sempre chiusi e privi di punti di fuga. Almeno finché la vista di un tramonto gli ispira il disegno definitivo.

The young Lorenzo from Palermo has to make the FtM transition. He has broken up with his family and wanders between the Foro Italico and his friends’ bedrooms to draw, play video games and have his fortune told on cards. He measures his desire with the clothes he wants to wear, the make-up he wants do to and the drawings in which he can imagine himself again.
The drawing is also the one by Daniele Ambrosini, who traces a small intimate world with the camera, observing the hands of his characters, empathetically penetrating Lorenzo’s life, and exploring the spaces in which Lorenzo feels safe, places that are always closed and without escape points. At least until the sight of a sunset inspires his definitive drawing.
