Due voci femminili si parlano mentre scorrono davanti agli occhi delle immagini di repertorio. Sono Emilia e Caterina, stanno rievocando i momenti della loro adolescenza negli Anni Cinquanta, commentando le immagini di se stesse, la loro strettissima intesa ma anche i freni che il mondo ha loro imposto.
In una meticoloso lavoro di suono e montaggio, Giulia Cosentino e Perla Sardella immaginano l’incontro impossibile di due anime che non hanno avuto l’occasione di esprimere realmente i loro desideri e la loro interiorità. Le voci fuoricampo diventano così un rapido sogno, le macchie di colore dipinte sui veri home video in bianco e nero, le manomissioni di un passato ingiusto.

Two female voices speak to each other while archive images scroll before their eyes. They are Emilia and Caterina, they are recalling moments of their adolescence in the Fifties, commenting on the images of themselves, their very close understanding but also the brakes that the world has imposed on them.
In a meticulous work of sound and editing, Giulia Cosentino and Perla Sardella imagine the impossible meeting of two souls who have not had the opportunity to truly express their desires and their interiority. The voiceovers thus become a rapid dream, the spots of color painted on real black and white home videos, the tampering of an unjust past.
