Rachel e Nick sono una coppia sposata di filmmaker, amanti dell’horror e delle esperienze del terrore. Con il grande amico di sempre di Rachel, Christian, hanno da sempre realizzato piccoli corti amatoriali dell’orrore, senza smettere mai di trovare nuove occasioni per divertirsi assieme. Nel 2023 il nuovo piano di Rachel e Nick è quello di comprare una casa abbandonata a prezzo stracciato per realizzarvi un horror insieme a Christian. Ci riescono, ma non è l’horror che volevano far loro: persone misteriose si aggirano intorno alla casa, si fermano di fronte alla porta di ingresso e fissano l’immobile pietrificati. E anche dentro casa non tutto sembra andare normalmente.
Succedono tante cose dentro l’horror indipendente di Rachel Kempf e Nick Toti, ma succede altrettanto fuoricampo, e la sparizione di uno dei personaggi è evocativo di un mondo della paranoia in cui neanche la passione per l’horror può farci stare al passo con il Male.

Rachel and Nick are a married couple of filmmakers, lovers of horror and of terrifying experiences. Together with Rachel’s longtime close friend, Christian, they have always made small amateur horror shorts, never ceasing to find new occasions to have fun together. In 2023, Rachel and Nick’s new plan is to buy an abandoned house at a bargain price and shoot a horror film there with Christian. They succeed, but it’s not the horror they intended to make: mysterious people wander around the house, stop in front of the front door, and stare at it, petrified. And inside the house, not everything seems to be functioning normally either.
Many things happen within Rachel Kempf and Nick Toti’s independent horror film, but just as much happens off-screen, and the disappearance of one of the characters evokes a world of paranoia in which not even a passion for horror can keep up with Evil.
