Silvia Calderoni (1981) muove i primi passi all'interno del mondo teatrale nel 1998, quando partecipa a un laboratorio teatrale di Pietro Babina del Teatrino Clandestino. Negli anni successivi lavora con la coreografa danzatrice Monica Francia e con il regista Cesare Ronconi, del Teatro Valdoca. Da dieci anni collabora con la compagnia Motus per la quale è interprete di molti spettacoli, tra cui il solo MDLSX di cui firma anche la drammaturgia insieme a Daniela Nicolò. È protagonista di The Plot is the Revolution insieme a Judith Malina, storica fondatrice del Living Theatre. Nel 2012 debutta sul grande schermo con il film La Leggenda di Kaspar Hauser, diretto da Davide Manuli, al fianco di Vincent Gallo. Attualmente sta lavorando come attrice sul set di Francesca Comencini e su quello di Roberta Torre. 

Silvia Calderoni (1981) takes the first steps in the theatre world in 1998, when she takes part to a workshop of theatre by Pietro Babina of the Teatro Clandestino. During the following years she works with the dancer choreographer Monica Francia and with the director Cesare Ronconi, of the Valdoca Theatre. She has cooperated with the Motus company which she interpreted many performances for, among them MDLSX which she signs the dramaturgy for too, together with Daniela Nicolò. She is the main character of The Plot is the Revolution together with Judith Malina, historical founder of the Living Theatre.
In 2012 she debuts on the big screen with the film La Leggenda di Kaspar Hauser, directed by Davide Manuli, at the side of Vincent Gallo. At the moment she is working as an actress on Francesca Comencini and on Roberta Torre’s sets.

La giuria internazionale della sesta edizione del SICILIA QUEER filmfest / 2017, avrà il compito di scegliere il miglior cortometraggio della sezione competitiva Queer Short e il miglior lungometraggio della nuova sezione New Visions, aperto a opere prime e seconde e nuovi sguardi non necessariamente legati a tematiche GLBT.
