Nella sua ricerca di sesso, un uomo gay ha la possibilità, unica e irripetibile, di rimediare ad alcuni recenti torti politici e di rendere di nuovo grande l'America.
Charles Lum e Todd Verow sanno che il cinema è fondato sul montaggio. In un simile momento di urgenza politica, non c'è forse altra scelta se non quella di andare dritti al punto e sbarazzarsi di tutte le immagini e i suoni non necessari. La politica del regista è così non troppo dissimile dalla loro estetica: tagliare, tagliare, tagliare! La salvezza risiede nella castrazione, la creazione nell'emasculazione, mentre i cambiamenti storici possono avvenire in una stanza buia e segreta. Alla fine di questo breve ma intenso viaggio cinematografico, la rivoluzione si rivela come l'ultima fantasia sessuale.

While cruising for sex, a gay man has a once in a lifetime chance to right some recent political wrongs and make America great again.
Charles Lum and Todd Verow know that film is all about editing out. In our time of political urgency, there is maybe no other choice than being straight to the point and getting rid of all unneeded images and sounds. The director’s politics is the same as their aesthetics: cut, cut, cut! Salvation lies in castration, creation in emasculation, while historical changes might take place in a dark, secret room. At the end of this short, yet intensive cinematic journey, revolution comes across as the ultimate sexual fantasy.

Charles Lumalias clublum, si è specializzato in fotografia all’Art Institute di Chicago dopo 25 anni come location manager. I suoi brevi video sono stati proiettati a livello internazionale in musei, gallerie e sale cinematografiche. Ha co-diretto con Verow altri cortometraggi, tra cui Tom’s Gift, Been Too Long at the Fair, Secret Santa Sex Party e Blow Job 2017.
Todd Verow ha frequentato la Rhode Island School of Design e il Conservatorio AFI. Ha fatto il suo debutto cinematografico con Frisk nel 1996 (Sundance, Berlino e Toronto.) Alla Bangor Films, ha diretto oltre 25 lungometraggi e numerosi cortometraggi, affermandosi come il più prolifico autore emerito del New Queer Cinema. Assieme a Lum ha co-diretto i diretto i lungometraggi documentari Age of Consent e Sex and The Silver Gays.

Charles Lum Aka clublum, he received his MFA in Photography from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago after 25 years scouting and managing film locations. His short videos have screened internationally in museum, art and film venues. He co-directed with Verow other shorts, such as: Tom’s Gift, Been Too Long at the Fair, Secret Santa Sex Party and Blow Job 2017.
Todd Verow attended the Rhode Island School of Design and the AFI Conservatory. He made his feature film debut with Frisk in 1996 (Sundance, Berlin & Toronto.) At Bangor Films, Todd has directed over 25 features and numerous shorts, establishing himself as the most prolific auteur emeritus of the New Queer Cinema. Together with Lum he also co-directed the feature documentaries and .
