I sentimenti cambiano velocemente. Sull'amore grava la minaccia della perdita, ma è soltanto dalla perdita che può nascere, ancora una volta, l’amore. Ionuț e Călin si sono lasciati di recente. Quando s'incontrano di nuovo per caso, i loro sentimenti riaffiorano, insieme alle tensioni che li avevano portati alla separazione. Due uomini provenienti da mondi diversi, una relazione che li spinge fuori dai loro limiti.
Sviluppando la narrazione attorno a due sequenze, SorinPoamă mostra con realismo una relazione amorosa intensa, sulla quale incombe l'ombra della malattia mentale e delle sue tragiche conseguenze.

Feelings change quickly. Love becomes loss only to become love again. Ionuț and Călin have recently broken up. When they accidentally meet again, their feelings resurface, along with the tensions that drove them apart. Two men coming from different worlds, a relationship that pushes them beyond their own limits.
With almost only two sequences, Sorin Poamă dives us with truthfulness in an intense love relationship’s meanderings over which hangs mental illness and its tragic consequences.

Nel 2007 si diploma all'Università Nazionale di Teatro e Cinema di Bucarest, dove ha studiatorecitazione. Nel 2010 scrive insieme a Vera Ion una pièce autobiografica: Ich Clown la storia di un giovane attore rumeno che emigra in Germania per lavorare come artista di strada. Nel 2010, insieme alla scrittrice Vera Ion, organizza un workshop a Bucarest, il Write Yourself. Comincia a dirigere dei cortometraggi, seguendo le storie sviluppate durante il workshop. Nel 2015, A girl I went to school with vince il Villa Kult Residency Award alla Next IFF a Bucarest. Nell'agosto del 2016 Sorin è selezionato al Sarajevo Talent Campus. Nel 2018 Ionuț and Călin è selezionato alla Competizione Nazionale al Transilvania IFF a Cluj e Next IFF a Bucarest dove riceve il premio per il Migliore cortometraggio rumeno. Nel 2019è selezionato per essere proiettato a Cannes nella sezione Court-Métrages.

In 2007 he graduated at the National University of Theatre and Cinematography in Bucharest, where he studied Acting. In 2010 he co-wrote with Vera Ion an autobiographical theatre play: Ich Clown, the story of a young Romanian actor migrating to Germany to work as a street artist. In 2010, alongside with the writer Vera Ion, he founded Write Yourself in Bucharest and started teaching in workshops. Here, Sorin started directing short films, following the stories developed in the workshop. In 2015, A girl I went to school with won the Villa Kult Residency Award at the Next IFF in Bucharest. In August 2016 Sorin was selected for the Sarajevo Talent Campus. In 2018 Ionuț and Călin is selected in the National Competition at the Transilvania IFF in Cluj and Next IFF in Bucharest where it receives the Award for Best Romanian Short Film. In 2019 Ionuț and Călin was selected to be screened at the Cannes Court Metrage.
