Per scappare dalla realtà omofoba dal loro paese di origine, due gemelli brasiliani vivono attualmente in Europa. Il primo ha una situazione perfettamente legale a Bruxelles, mentre il secondo è un immigrato illegale e vive come un fantasma nella capitale tedesca. Ambientato nel periodo delle elezioni del 2018 in Brasile, l’angoscia dei due fratelli rispetto al futuro del loro paese in seguito all’elezione del candidato dell'estrema destra Jair Bolsonaro cresce ancora di più quando uno dei due fratelli ha un incidente.
Un ritratto che mescola finzione e documentario, ancorato alla realtà in maniera lirica per permettere allo spettatore di immergersi in una storia di di complicità e resistenza nei confronti di una società sempre più individualista e intollerante.

To escape the homophobic reality of their homeland, two Brazilian identical twins are now living in Europe. The first brother has a perfectly legal status in Brussels, the second is an illegal immigrant and lives like a ghost in the German capital. Set during the 2018 Brazilian elections, the brothers' anguish about the future of their country under the rise of far-right candidate Jair Bolsonaro deepens when one of the twins is involved in an accident.
A cinematic portrait, part fiction part documentary, which uses reality in a lyrical way to plunge the viewer's eyes into a story of complicity and resistance while facing a society that is gradually becoming more intolerant and individualistic.

Nato nel Sud del Brasile, dopo aver studiato Belle Arti si è dedicato alla regia cinematografica nel 2014, dopo essere giunto a Bruxelles ed essersi iscritto alla prestigiosa scuola di cinema INSAS. La sua attività artistica è ricca e vivace, e spazia dalla creazione di collettivi poetici alla produzione di installazioni che mescolano video e scultura. Influenzato dal Cinema Novo e sempre al confine tra fiction e documentario, il suo stile combina sapientemente differenti mezzi espressivi sempre con l’intento di trattare brucianti problematiche politiche e sociali.

Born in the South of Brazil, he switched from Fine Arts to Film Directing in 2014, arriving in Brussels to take course at the INSAS Film School. His artistic career is colorfully varied, from creating collectives of poetry to producing installations mixing video and sculpture. Influenced by Cinema Novo and at the boundaries between fiction and documentary, his style combines several mediums of expression in order to approach political and social urgent matters.
