Léo è un giovane omosessuale appassionato, vivace, eccitato. Léo è anche un padre premuroso, gentile, rassicurante. La sera del compleanno di suo figlio si deve barcamenare fra questi due diversi motori esistenziali e dividersi nonostante goffaggini e distrazioni.
Nans Laborde-Jourdáa tallona Léo (dividendosi anche lui fra il davanti e il dietro la macchina da presa: lui stesso interpreta Léo) e non sa se biasimarlo per certe sue inettitudini o stimarlo per come riesca a circondarsi di affetto e amore. Alla fine ripiega per la scelta di mezzo: volergli semplicemente bene, e con gentilezza affascinante e imperfetta cattura in corsa un ritratto impressionista, fra parchi e camere d’albergo, fra incontri sessuali e tenerezze familiari, con una spontaneità che riterremo impossibile e invece, conoscendo Léo, pare inattaccabile.

Léo is a passionate, lively, and excited young gay man. Léo is also a caring, kind, and reassuring father. On the night of his son's birthday, he must juggle these two very different existential forces, separating himself despite awkwardness and distractions.
Nans Laborde-Jourdáa follows Léo (also splitting his time between in front of and behind the camera: he plays Léo himself) and doesn't know whether to blame him for some of his ineptitudes or admire him for how he manages to surround himself with affection and love. Ultimately, he settles for the middle ground: simply loving him, and with a charming and imperfect kindness, he quickly captures an impressionistic portrait, amid parks and hotel rooms, between sexual encounters and family tenderness, with a spontaneity that we might think impossible, but yet, knowing Léo, seems unassailable.

Regista e attore, ha recitato in diversi film diretti da registi come Sophie Fillières, Julie Lopez-Curval e Sébastien Téot. Dirige, insieme a Margot Alexandre, la compagnia TORO TORO, ed è autore e regista di diversi spettacoli teatrali. Nel 2018 ha girato, tra il Giappone e la Francia, il cortometraggio Looking for Reiko, prodotto da Margaux Lorier. Nel 2021 ha diretto un altro cortometraggio, Léo la nuit, prodotto dalla Paraiso Production e selezionato, tra gli altri festival, al Clermont-Ferrand e al FIFIB, nonché pre-selezionato ai César 2023. Vince con Boléro (2023), già selezionato a Cannes, il Sicilia Queer filmfest 2024, ed interpreta infine una piccola parte in La limace et l’escargot (2024) di Anne Benhaïem.

Director and actor, he has acted in several films directed by authors such as Sophie Fillières, Julie Lopez-Curval and Sébastien Téot. He runs, together with Margot Alexandre, the TORO TORO company, and he is the author and director of several theatrical productions. In 2018, he shot the short film Looking for Reiko, produced by Margaux Lorier, between Japan and France. In 2021, he directed another short film, Léo by night, produced by Paraiso Production and selected, among other festivals, at Clermont-Ferrand and FIFIB, as well as pre-selected for the 2023 César Awards. He won the Sicilia Queer filmfest 2024 with Boléro (2023), already selected at Cannes, and finally played a small part in La limace et l’escargot (2024) by Anne Benhaïem.
