If there's one person with whom it should be possible to be absolutely sincere, that’s one's mother. Pol Merchan therefore embarks on the journey that brings him back to her, in an attempt at reconciliation and mutual understanding. And the journey translates into a kaleidoscope of dual possibilities, evoked by the constant split screen: will the two be able to reconcile? Understand each other? Is it possible that Pol's physical journey, which has reached his mother, also parallels that journey her mother must make through doubts aiming the acceptance?
